Paraphrase, identify allusion, analyze figurative language, scan iambic pentameter
Daily Activity:
1. Journal: your choice--label it "Choice Journal"
2. Homework check (Sonnet 18 guided reading)
3. Review answers
4. Iambic rap (we read Sonnet 18 aloud, over-emphasizing the unstressed and stressed iambic foot for demonstration purposes)
5. Complete the meter chart in the packet on Sonnet 18
6. Write two-lines on your own in iambic pentameter (practice--you will be writing your own sonnet)

The fruit is nice and fries are friends to me
